♦ 003 [ video / action for violet ]

Ah...I'm afraid I'm not sure how I got here. But at least I have my bag, and none of my Pokémon seem harmed....

[ She seems relieved at that. But then another thought occurs to her, and she can't help but frown. ]

Cecil, Rydia, are you alright? [ Main priority here. ]

Also, if anyone could let me know where I am, I'd be very grateful.

[ And feel free to let her know that the video feed was giving you a great shot of her boobs. She's still new to this whole recording-thing. ]

...I'm currently flying from Cianwood to Olivine. Could you show me your surroundings?

You aren't hurt or anything, are you?

Ah, yes! Give me one minute....

[ After a little shifting, she waves the camera around to show the surroundings. Granted, they're sideways, but it'll work, right? ]

I'm perfectly well. I've even had the time to defeat another Gym leader.

[The sidewalks actually are enough, because Cecil has spent enough time there to know the whole place by heart.]

Violet, then. Ecruteak is to the northwest, but there is a tree in the way. You'll not be able to cross it.

Thank goodness....is Rydia with you?

[ You are just reminding Rosa why she thinks you're so amazing. ]

Is there another path I should take, then? I don't mind taking a longer route, if necessary.

I've not seen her since- since I left for Olivine.

[Or did he? There was that dream...]

You could go south to Azalea and return north through Goldenrod, but it'll take weeks. I can also be back in Ecruteak in about ten days, and open the path then.

I see....I will let you know if I hear from her.

I don't mind waiting, Cecil, but I can also walk there if that's easier for you.

Thank you. Hopefully we'll find her waiting in Ecruteak.

Violet would be the most practical location for a meeting. It would also allow you to meet any new arrival from home easily.

I hope we are so fortunate. I don't want her to be alone for very long.

...Then I shall stay here, barring any emergencies.

I can transfer some funds to her, if needed. For the rest of it, we'll have to count on her Pokémon.

We should reach you soon enough, though we'll probably have to rest in Olivine a day or two. Flying over the ocean will certainly tire the team.

I'm sure her Pokémon can take care of her....certainly, I'm sure they must have worked out their problems. [ Hopefully. ]

Take all the time you need, Cecil; I have no problems waiting. It's pleasant here.

Unity against adversity is a good way to build a friendship. They might become a stronger team through this.

You should not have the time to feel bored, but there are ruins and caves nearby. You could always visit them.

I hope so, for Rydia's sake. I know she and her starter have had their...differences.

I'll keep that in mind, but I'm sure there will be enough to do in town to keep me occupied.

I was hoping they get along with time alone, but after all these months...

Do be careful if you visit Sprout Tower, however. The local monks treat guests rudely.

I'm sure it's better now than it was at the beginning, at least.

Are they not fond of visitors? I wouldn't want to disturb them, in that case.

She hits him somewhat less, I think.

Even if they do dislike visitors, that is no reason to frighten an innocent girl.

[identity profile] gentleblossom.livejournal.com 2011-06-08 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
That's still an improvement...!

Were they truly cruel to someone? That poor girl...
paladinlost: (peaceful)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2011-06-09 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
Even the slightest improvement is better than nothing, I suppose.

It was quite unfair of them, especially since Miss Kisa is too gentle to ever hurt a fly. She did not deserve such treatment.

[identity profile] gentleblossom.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps, with small steps like these, they will come to an understanding.

...I'm sorry to hear that. I hope they learn to be ashamed of their actions.

Who kows? She might come to see him as one of her Eidolons, someday.

I do not know if they are ashamed, but they must certainly regret it. Ari is quite protective of her trainer, and Growlithe bites are rather painful.

[identity profile] gentleblossom.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be happy for them to simply get along.

I'm glad she has a strong protector. It's terrible, that people can treat others who are innocent so unjustly.

Most of the locals are unlike them, thankfully, though the monks in Ecruteak also dislike visitors. I'm quite glad the people of Fabul are not like them.

[identity profile] gentleblossom.livejournal.com 2011-06-14 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Certainly, I could never imagine Yang being so unkind.

And goodness knows he's taught Ursula and all of the monk trainees better than that.
